Description
The most difficult part of making a successful reseal of a Benjamin Marauder air rifle is ensuring that the valve and gauge port O rings are not cut by the gauge port hole during reassembly.
It's almost impossible to prevent cutting little slices out of these O rings and these little cuts can completely ruin a reseal by allowing the gun to leak at these points (again?).
This unique Archer Airguns tool is a very much simplified version of the jig used by Crosman on the Marauder production line to ensure that these O rings are not cut during reassembly. It simply fits into the gauge port hole in the main tube during reassembly and stops the O rings from swelling out into the hole and then being cut as they pass back into the pressure tube.
Just hold the tool against the gauge port hole using one hand
as you install the valve and gauge port. The O rings will be able to pass by without being cut and your Marauder air rifle reseal has a much higher chance of being successful.
Flat black color. The illustration shows the CAD design for clarity. This tool is prominently marked with a "M" on the underside to distinguish it from the very similar tool for the Benjamin Discovery air rifle.
